They are both inexperienced in the roles they play and as this tragic relationship develops, Brendon and Suzie each realise they want more. Leon Graham becomes out of control, with Suzie needing to make drastic changes to her life as a consequence. But Suzie's stalker has also brought her Police ex-boyfriend Jason, back into her life, despite Brendon forbidding her from having contact with him. In addition, Suzie meets a younger guy who fancies her and doesn't appreciate the way Brendon treats her. Brendon soon realises that there are multiple males on the scene, bringing his jealousy to the fore, resulting him taking matters into his own hands. Meet BrendonExcerptWhen he bent his head towards mine, I noticed he avoided my lips, instead going straight for my throat. As his mouth continued to suck like a vampire out for blood, I knew there would be lingering marks to show he had been there. When he moved lower, I purred with delight as he parted my thighs and, with his tongue, pushed his way inside me. While his tongue seemed to lick every inch internally, externally his mouth was sucking and biting, bringing me to a heightened frenzy. My body seemed to have a mind of its own, thrashing about and squirming under the intense pleasure he was giving me. All too soon, he lifted his head and smiled, no doubt, at my loss of self-control. I had assumed he would restrain me for my actions, but surprised me instead by positioning his cock before me. I returned his smile, then bent and spread my legs wider, giving him easy access to my now-throbbing sex. “Very wanton.” He whispered the words, as he leant over to grip my hips firmly. “Please, Sir. Please take me.” I tried to sound submissive, hoping he would heed my plea and give me what I was craving. “My god, Suzie, you have no idea what you do to me.” I didn’t get a chance to ask what he meant, as he wasted no time in fulfilling my request, by filling me to the hilt. I matched his powerful thrusts, stroke for stroke, holding onto his shoulders as I pulled him closer. I studied his eyes, still fascinated to see their colour change to a beautiful ocean-blue, as he neared and then reached his peak. I don’t think I could survive without reading. My current story came to me in a dream and it just grew from there. It is an erotic relationship theme with bdsm elements. I started writing it just to get it out of my head. Now that I am nearing the end of this series, an earlier storyline has begun to take over.I also have a regency tale that is half finished, which I will get to once these others get out of my head and onto the page.I live in the south west of Western Australia. The Sunshine Series is a YA/NA paranormal romance series written by Amazon Bestselling Author Nikki Rae. The Series consists of three books: Sunshine, Sun Poisoned and Sun Damage. Sunshine Published: January 28, 2013): 18 year old Sophie Jean is pretty good at acting normal. Sure, she’s not exactly happy, but happiness is nothing compared to being like everyone else. She can pretend she’s not allergic to the sun. She can hide what her ex-boyfriend did to her. She can cover up the scars she’s made for herself. Ignore anything. Forget anything. Then Myles enters her life, and he has more than a few secrets of his own. When accident after accident keeps happening to Sophie, she can’t help noticing that he’s everywhere. That he knows too much. That she’s remembering too much. It’s one thing covering up her own dark past, but does she really need to worry about people finding out just how much Myles likes her? Or that despite how much she doesn't want to repeat past mistakes, she kind of likes him back? Not to mention the fact that she now has to conceal that Myles drinks blood-that he says he’s about four hundred years old. She almost forgot about that part. But Sophie has no plans to ruin the normal life she has created for herself. She can deal with this little glitch, no problem. Even if word has gotten around to the wrong vampire about Sophie and Myles, even if she’s putting the few people she loves at risk. Suddenly, those who were monsters before are just people, and the monsters? They’re real. Now being a normal human being is the least of her problems. Now she has to stay alive. My Review: Sophie is a square peg in a round world. She finds it easier to be a bit of a loner. Her mother finds her a hindrance, her ex boyfriend ruined all her self esteem and to top it off she is allergic to the sun. Sophie is close to her brother, but his alliance is not always in reach because as soon as he was old enough he moved out with his boyfriend. Her two best friends are her only other solace - Boo and Trei. Though with their parents divorce they can't always be around to bring balance in Sophie's life. Myles is the new kid in town. He appears quiet and reserved. His attraction to Sophie is obvious to everyone but Sophie - who finds him irritating. Though after spending time with each other, and quite often at times when life is not treating Sophie so good, she finds a friendship in Myles that soon becomes permanent. Sophie's mother has a melt down and takes it all out on Sophie. She takes it as her queue to move out and on with her life. Her brother makes space at his place for her. Her birthday begins the turning point in her life. Slowly but surely Sophie lets down her guard and allows Myles into her world, the one she has that keeps her sane. In turn Myles reveals his secret that he is centuries older than her and his source of sustenance comes from the blood bank. While Sophie embraces this news and realises that Myles can understand what it is like to be different, what she doesn't realise is that her connection to him and what she has inside of her attracts a danger she was not prepared for. A story of teenage angst for a whole lot of different reasons. The characters in this story are fantastic, I fell in love with Myles who's heart is as big as the moon, and I adored Sophie for her strong willed stubbornness that she was able to maintain through her darkest moments. This is book one in the series and most definitely leaves you ready for book two. Awesome stuff Ms Rae! Sun Poisoned Published: June 28, 2013 Sophie’s life has changed. She’s moved to New York, she’s playing music for new people, and she’s making new friends. Then there’s Myles, and the fact that he is now her boyfriend—and everyone knows it. She’s not exactly normal, living in a half-human, half-vampire world, but she’s finally, truly happy. However, some parts of Sophie and Myles’ old lives still hide in the dark, waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Sophie’s having nightmares again, but they aren't about her; Myles is hiding something as well, something Sophie isn’t sure she wants to know. And one lie will change everything. No matter how hard she tries to cover up the marks her monsters have left behind, they never truly go away, and Myles’ monsters are no different. Once again, Sophie’s caught between life and death, but this time, only she can save herself. My Review Sophie finds that the move to New York was a choice that her and her friends will never regret. Fame and fortune is right on their doorstep. Sophie thought the horrifying nightmares she had been fighting for years had passed...but they are back, but they are not hers. She soon learns that the blood she had been given holds the memories of its donor and hence the deliverer of her nightmares. At the height of their music career, tragedy strikes again, and Sophie's life continues to be in danger. Things begin to spiral and life as Sophie knows it soon ends once and for all. Serious decisions need to be made, but at a cost. Can Sophie survive the darkness that is following her, can she protect the ones she loves. Can Myles help Sophie? Number 2 in the series - the story gets better and better. Ms Rae you have a fan right here!!! Sun Damage Published: March 28, 2014 Life wasn't what Sophie was expecting, so why should death be any different? She’s come back from swimming between the two, and every problem she left is still there. And then some. There’s the human world, where she has a brother on the verge of ruins, band mates all set to go on tour, and people she thought she wouldn't be seeing for a long time showing up. Then there’s her new world, where she’s seeing and hearing things that should not be heard or seen. Where Myles knows more about her than she could have ever guessed. She still doesn't know exactly why Michael is tormenting her, but somehow, everything is connected. The monsters are closing in on all sides and the question is, will Sophie be able to defeat them before it all ends? My Review: The memories and dreams continue to haunt Sophie, both Michael's and Myles'. Sophie tries her best to soldier on. However strange things start happening and Sophie starts to feel out of control. Myles has been keeping his eye on Sophie throughout the tour. But he knows that these strange occurrences are leading to something bigger. Myles makes an appearance just when Sophie needs him the most. The truth behind who Sophie's father is revealed and the real purpose behind Sophie's existence is brought to light. The question is can Myles protect her from Michael? Or has the damage already been done? All is revealed at the end...though I can't help feeling that there could be a little more of this story to be told...Ms Rae is there a book 4 stewing in that creative mind of yours? Great book, fantastic characters, a wonderful adventure...A series totally worth reading! Meet the Author: Nikki Rae is a student and writer who lives in New Jersey.
