Have we not evolved yet? Why is it that the Boys Club can still exist? Jana is a successful Sales Rep for a medical device company. She has worked diligently to achieve her high standards and the respect of her colleagues and customers. Jana is happily married to Andrew who is also successful in his field. He is supportive and loving...and all that Jana has ever dreamed of. The icing on the cake would be a child to complete their beautiful family. Priorities have kept the family dream on hold for some time, approaching 30 Jana is still not sure if she is ready. A promotion to territory manager helps her make that decision, putting her career first yet again. The promotion brings her back to her home town, close to family and her best friend Grace. Her best friend since college they have been there for each other. Grace has struggled with mental illness for half her life...but their bonds of friendship never falters. So what could possibly go wrong in this picture perfect world that Jana has? Anything and Everything. Jana falls pregnant, a happy surprise that soon becomes an emotional roller coaster. The company she works for is secretly anti mothers in the work force, doing all they can to edge Jana out of the company. Grace soon becomes pregnant but chooses to stop taking her meds while she is, soon starts to struggle with her life. Jana is strong, independent, determined and most of not going to let life hold her back. But does she have what it takes to bring down a multi-million dollar company for discrimination? Can she help her friend through her darkest times? A story filled with love and devotion, heartache and deception. A story that will have you feeling love and adoration for the characters and anger at the way those in power abuse it. A wonderful story Ms Lexington, I look forward to reading more of your work!
