Blossoming Flower by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars Flor, the daughter of the infamous Gustavo Da Lima, is trying hard to escape the stigma of Da Lima name, especially since her father’s demise in the business world and her mother’s poor behaviour as the wounded victim in the whole saga. When Flor’s only solace, her studies, becomes threatened, she turns to the woman she was told could help her in a time of need, Poppy Baron. Flor is pleasantly surprised and a little overwhelmed at just how eager Poppy is to help her. All that Flor wants is a job to see her through the summer, and give her some experience for her future veterinary studies. Poppy’s ranch is the perfect place. There are secrets in the ranch, but they are not what knocks Flor of her feet, it the gorgeous horse trainer, Collin who grabs her heart (and panties!). Collin is quiet and extremely private. He is definitely attracted to Flor, but he has been given strict instructions that Flor is off limits. But what is a great love story without the obstacles and rule breaking. Ms Winslow does it again with another fantastic addition to her Flowers series. Lots of passion and angst and as always a strong willed woman not afraid to express herself any which way she can!!
