✰★✰Rhett in Love Cover Reveal✰★✰
Rhett in Love is a new standalone book coming by New York Times Bestselling author J. S. Cooper. Rhett in Love is the sequel to the bestselling book, Rhett, but can be read without having read the first book in the series. Thanks to Louisa of LM Creations for designing the beautiful cover. Rhett in Love Blurb Rhett Madison and Clementine O’Hara were best friends for years before they decided to give dating a shot. Everyone around them thought they were perfect for each other, but neither one of them realized just how much their relationship would change once they got together. They’d only been dating for a couple of months when they decided to move across the country and live together. Neither one of them were prepared for all the trials and tribulations they would face as a new couple living in sin, as Clementine’s Nanna called it. Rhett’s still acting like he’s a bachelor and Clementine’s not sure if going from friends to lovers was the best decision they ever made. So they decide to enroll in a relationship course to see if they are meant to be together. Only it seems like Rhett’s more interested in the passionate side of their relationship, as opposed to the deeper more emotional side. Hilarity and chaos ensues when Tomas and Jake come to visit and Rhett and Clementine are both faced with questions that could change their relationship status once again. Neither one knows what’s going to happen, but no-one ever said that the pathway from friends to lovers was going to be an easy one. Rhett in Love will be released on September 23rd, 2014. Joseph's job, when he's not writing, is in finance. He is married, and is the very proud father of a wonderful young woman with Down syndrome. OMG! Someone is writing my story!!! Jokes aside, I am sure there are plenty of women out there who can relate to the mundane existence of worker drone...but what if a few daring options were placed on the table? Option one...open yourself up to the amorous advances of a younger man? A little more socially accepted these days, what the heck! Have a little fun.No problems...and Valerie embraces it whole-heartedly. Franco is young, intelligent, ambitious and gorgeous. What more could Valerie want? Life is great! Her sex life is back in swing and Franco is fulfilling her every need...physically, mentally and emotionally. So what could possibly go wrong? To start with, Valerie's new boss...sexual harassment is her forte and she has Valerie in her sights. Then Franco's luck starts spiraling down a big hole. His funding at the university dries up and then he has the FBI breathing down his neck about stolen artifacts. So what to do? What would make this all go away? Neither Valerie or Franco deserve the treatment being dished out to them, but there doesn't seem to be any escape...until together they hatch a plan to run away to Peru...start a new life...Franco can continue his archaeological studies focusing on the Incas...and Valerie can follow her life long dream of opening her own marina. The question is at what cost? Can they afford to run away? Financially there is an answer but is Valerie prepared to risk it? Can Valerie sacrifice it all for the man she loves? And is Peru the answer? A story about the obstacles of love and what lengths people will take to have that love...whether it is theirs to take or not. An easy read, with characters that relatable and fun. While some of the topics are serious, the story will have you laughing at some of the tongue in cheek humour Mr Rinaldo places throughout the story. A book worth reading, and escape into the world of a modern day Bonnie and Clyde...all the way to Peru! I did not enjoy reading in primary school it was all compulsory reading and gawd damn it Dick will you just catch that ball cause Dora and I are just not entertained by all your running! Then when I was 13 we had to read “Playing Beatie Bow” by Ruth Parks for English at school… This was to be the only book in the school curriculum that I read all the way to the end, I have even read twice more at different stages in my life. It is a great story, but at 13 I still was not quite hooked by the book worm. But then I discovered V.C Andrews when I was 14 and started devouring her books. Remember the editions with the window in the cover…My favourite…and she wrote naughty stuff (I was feeling so grown up reading her books!) Then in my early 20s to early 30s I read a ton of Spiritual books – seeking deeper answers to the universe. I did get some of those answers too! However somewhere in between I got a taste for Stephen King books (Paranormal so I guess those genres went together) Sadly up until my late 30s, reading fell to the wayside cause life happened. But then on my 39th birthday my sister told me I had to read Fifty Shades of Grey – something about Mummy Porn. So I did, I read each book three times. All of a sudden it felt like something woke up in me…not just because of the Mummy porn! I started to feel again, something I hadn’t done in a very long time! Ask my family they all noticed the change! Yes I joined the bandwagon and became another middle aged fan for Mr Grey! But I think I got a quadruple dose of the bookworm – which I now refuse to be treated for…
I have devoured over 350 ebooks since I read the FSOG trilogy. I started writing mini reviews on Amazon, my little thank you to the authors. Each book I read woke a part me up that I had either long forgotten or hidden away. Not only did reading become my little piece of heaven, an entertainment source for my mind, but every book I have read has had a new key that unlocks a part of my soul, some locks never been opened and others that I locked years ago through some heartache or loss! The Universe seems to always know which book I need to read next, whether it be a favourite authors new book, a genre specific book or just some random book I have discovered or has been given to me to read. Each book comes to me a time when I truly need to read them, each book has a topic or character that resonates with me or enlightens me at time when I need them most. Yes they are 99% fictional but each book carries a message that helps me grow as a person, each book touches my soul in a way that I have spent many years ignoring. So to all the beautiful authors I have crossed paths with, read your books or befriended, from the very bottom of my heart, Thank you! You are my therapy to becoming a person that is beginning to feel whole again! Read People, read frivolously, read like your life depends on it….READ BECAUSE YOU CAN! Can his Faith be his salvation? When Dr. Cain Turner's life was literally blown apart in a small province of Afghanistan, it was only the hope and memories of one woman that propelled him forward. But there were more demons to face. In the small country hamlet of Paradise, Tennessee...Faith waits. My hands retrieve the first item. “Buckeyes!” I exclaim. “I can see why she’s your best friend.” Dean leans on one elbow, watching me explore the contents one by one. I reach in, continuing to pull out items—a black hair scarf with cherries, a pair of earrings from one of my favorite local jewelry designers in Cincinnati, Abbi Glines’s newest steamy romance. My cheeks go hot as Dean sees the cover, lifting his eyebrows. “Well, I think that’s it,” I say, lifting the box, the sound of something shifting inside catching my attention. “Oh, there’s something else.” I reach in, and as I do, I can feel Dean’s eyes locked on me. I feel something long and cool slip into my hand. Locking my fingers around it, I let the box fall away. Instantly, I see Dean straighten up, a half-cocked grin on his face. Much to my horror, I look down to see a pink rubber penis-shaped device in my hand. I freeze, but my cheeks are on fire. All I can think about is the different ways I am going to torture Monica before I kill her. “I can explain,” I begin. I’ll tell him she’s crazy—like actually certifiable. He’s still grinning at me as he gives me a slight nod. He closes the gap between us even more. “You know, I can help with that,” he offers, and I can’t help but wonder if he’s serious, or perhaps maybe I’m wishing. “You think I’m that easy?” I hit the ball squarely back to him. I consider licking my lips, but worry that may be over the top. I’m looking directly at him, and damn, he’s incredible. “A guy can hope.” He pauses, playfully lifting an eyebrow. “Can’t he?” I grin. In fact, I can’t do anything but grin. He moves closer, and I glance down, realizing I’m still holding the device. My breath hitches, but he still moves closer. He’s facing me, never moving those gorgeous blue eyes away from me. He slides his arm around my waist, and as he presses himself against me, I’m sure I can feel an erection. This surprises me, and my hand releases the dildo, which falls to the floor with a thud. “What’s wrong? Can’t contain your excitement around me?” he whispers, his breath warm on my neck, just below my ear. My mouth is watering, my heartbeat quickens, and my head is now spinning. I pull back, the distance giving me a slight bit of clarity. The idea of this kind of pleasure is tempting. The bulge in his jeans tells me he is interested. In an attempt to casually conceal the pink rubber shaft, I use the toe of my platform sandals to kick it under a nearby chair. Dean cocks a brow, his face shifts, and he laughs softly. “What?” I shrug innocently. “Did you just kick a dick under a chair?” He’s still laughing. “Watch it, or I might make a habit of it.” “Ouch,” he hisses, then winces, grabbing himself as if he were imagining the attack. My eyes dart past his shoulder, where Storm is coming up the stairs. She has on her headphones, staring at the face of her phone. I nod my head at Dean, indicating we’re no longer alone. I shift, moving to walk past him. He grabs my hip, pulling me into his grasp. “We’ll continue this later,” he promises. He takes my hand and leads me past Storm and out of the bus without a word. I wonder if she can tell what had been transpiring from the look on my face. As we move around the side of the bus, I feel his hand shift to the small of my back. It’s like he knows all the places to touch me to drive me absolutely insane. About The Author: Connect with Wendy Owens: Wendy Owens is a writer, born in the small college town, Oxford Ohio. The Luckiest by Wendy Owens My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! When I first got this book it didn't click that this was part of series...it didn't really matter as it would have only given me a back story for one of the characters - but not a main one. So this can most definitely be read as a stand alone, though I have definitely added Ms Owens other two books from the series to my kindle to read very soon! Mackenzie(Mac) has had some pretty crappy luck in life. It started out perfect, Mum & Dad, a happy home and a her Mum's restaurant where all her troubles could be cooked away. But in a span of 10 years she lost all those she loved. Now all she had was the darkness she lived in. Dean appears to have it all, sexy and cocky, he is a hot rock star in a touring band. But all that is not what it seems...but no one needs to know that. The band needs a personal chef while they are on the road...and who better to fill the job but Mac. She knows she needs to change her life, she needs to get away from the cocoon she so safely keeps herself wrapped up in. SO on the road she goes cooking up a storm for the band. What she wasn't expecting was the storm that Dean would produce inside her. The Luckiest is a gorgeous story about two broken people who are drawn together. Their connection is more than their broken pasts...the question is can either of get beyond the brokenness? A well written, easy to read story that has just enough angst, heartache, lust and love to keep you wanting to read to the very end. Adorable characters that you are sure to fall in love with. Ms Owen's what a wonderful job...I will definitely be back for more!! |
